As the directors of Randwick OOSH (Emma Mahony and Maria Peroy Mendes) we’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a bit about ourselves.
We are both extremely passionate about working with children and families and strive to provide the best possible care.
Together we are highly qualified, knowledgeable and experienced in the OOSH industry. In addition to holding formal tertiary qualifications, we have had extensive training and learning opportunities in the industry over the years. Ongoing training and professional development is a priority for us.
We have been colleagues for many years. We take pride in knowing that all children are part of a safe, caring, friendly, professional and fun environment and that we have created positive life long memories for many children.
We work directly on site at Randwick OOSH and are the Nominated Supervisors and Educational Leaders in accordance with the National Regulations.
Alongside us, we have an outstanding team of staff that are dedicated to providing high quality care. Qualified Coordinators, Team managers, Team leaders and permanent educators have been strategically recruited to ensure we have a strong and effective management team. All members of the management team hold various and relevant qualifications and receive ample ongoing training and professional development, including up to date child protection, first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training. Each member is extremely committed and involved with all aspects of the service.
To ensure the safety of the children, we ensure that a Responsible Person is present at all times when children are in attendance. In addition to this, all educators at Randwick OOSH hold a working with children check and are aware of their responsibilities as a mandatory reporter.
